Greetings
Hello, I am Paul, and as I love Banana's (Is there anyone who doesn't?) My wife just got me a Dwarf Cavendish. I am going to enjoy mlearning how to grow one of my favorite fruits.
After letting it acclimate for a day in its 4' pot it came in, I went out to re-pot it into an 7" pot to give it some grow room, I was met with pure horror. THIS GUY!!! I am so glad I caught him before he did much damage. I now need to research on how to keep this light yellow green caterpillars surviving relatives from moving in when I am not there to catch them. Any favorite treatments from the membership? ---------- PS: I removed him from under a plum tree overnight so my caterpillars family wont be dropping in from overhead. I have some 'Safe Soap'(tm) for house plant insects treatment I can try? It does include caterpillars on the label. CATAPILLER INDIFICATION UPDATE: "Looks like a yellow/virginia woolly bear (Spilosoma virginica)as per user identification from BugGuide.net" |
Re: Greetings
