Default First year grower

I'm a first year grower living in New Braunfels Texas (just north of San Antonio). Not sure what type of fruit I have - either burro or baby bananas but they are delicious. I'd like to know, given my area (zone 9) what are other varieties I can successfully grow?

thanks!
