First Timer
Hi! I'm a long time vegetable grower. I decided I wanted to try something a little different. I just purchased my first banana "tree." I'm not sure that you can really call it a tree at 16 inches though. It has grown about 3 inches since I got it. I'm very excited about it but I'm sure I'm going to have tons of questions along the way. Looking forward to exploring here.

Ask questions! This longtime mostly veggie gardener did when I first moved to FL; the most tropical plant I'd grown before was a calamondin orange. Now I have 3 bananas, 2 citrus, a pineapple and probably more in addition to what was growing here (giant elephant ears) when I moved in.
