Default City Farmer

The weather seems to have been poor this year in Southern California. Not much rain and some humidity. But my bananas are coming on gang busters. I think I have about 5 bunches in various stages of development. I have either eaten or tossed most of two others.
Would love to find out what kind I have ben raising for 20 years. Love the plants for their looks and just because they are so different.
Glad I found the site.

Welcome, John!

Post some pictures of the plants, blossom, and fruits when you can. A lot of people here can help ID your plant(s).

I wrote that back in September. Now in July, I have two of those bunches that are finally ripening up enough to eat. They were green for a long time. But "never give up".

Welcome to the site! Glad to hear your plants are doing so well! Yeah, I'm no expert either, but the fruit pics above look orinoco-y to me! Best of luck...see you in the forums!
