Hi!
I am putting in a nice garden out back which will include Muscadine grapes, Citrus, Coconuts, Pineapple, Papaya, and Bananas!! Growing tropical fruits is new to me, so I'll probably have a few questions. I haven't seen much information on plantains here. I would think that growing them can't be too different than regular bananas. Any sources of starter plantains in my area? (Palm Beach County) Anyway, greetings from Lake Worth, Florida, The gateway to the Tropics!!

Welcome to the Jungle!!!!
Have fun here. Try Excaliber Nursery down the road a bit in your town, I have not been there yet, but another forum member loves it for the selection of rare fruit trees and other goodies. |

Cincinnana,
I've been trying to find the time to get over there. They have a Honeybell tree that I want. A local favorite, sweet giant tangerine. Thanks !!
