Default Bananas near SF

Hello!
I love bananas, and I can't wait to start growing them.

It will be challenging in my location. I am in 10a so I don't have to worry about frost, but I am on the SF Peninsula where I don't get much warm weather either.
Also, my soil is clay, and I know that may be an issue. However, bananas are such beautiful plants, I figure it is worth a shot. I hope to at least get some lovely looking plants and some leaves I can cook with.

@meizzwang - I have been reading all of your threads since I am pretty sure you live very near me. Your banana success gives me hope that I to can get some fruit! I would love to know what varieties you think I should plant (I have room for 2).

Also is there some kind of growing bananas starter guide? I know I have a lot to learn!

Thanks,
Robin
