Pinwheel banana tree

hi everyone

this is great to have a place to get help,thank you all.i was wondering if annyone new what to do with a banana tree for the winter,we hae 2 in the ground,an did wonderfull all summer,we live in s.c. zone 7-8,an we just moved here a year ago from upstate ny,so not to sure how to care for our banana tree's for winter,i just noticed tonight one tree has 5 baby's around it,an the other one has 1,one tree is green an purple,the other all green,iam going to have to look up what thay are if you need moore help,we are new at growing this as ny state was not a long growing season,an we were afraid to start growing them there,i would appreciate anny help at all. thank you all,an its nice to meet you. josie
