Default Banana Plants bending in half

Hello Members!

I am new to this site but thought it would be a great site to join because it is all about bananas. I am having an issue with some of my banana plants. I have two separate groupings of banana plants. One grouping is healthy and I have harvested a half dozen or more bunches of bananas from these plants. the second grouping is in another location on my property and once the plants reach close to a mature height and BEFORE they produce bananas, they bend in half, stop growing, and die.

Does anyone know what would cause this?

Thanking you in advance for any input you can provide.

You wouldn't happen to have a few pictures you could post would you? This would help us help you. One or two angles a foot or two away and one or two angles a few yards away, maybe...
And, welcome to the boards.

Varieties I supposedly bought: Manzano, Cavendish, Blue Java, Sweetheart, and Gros Michel.
What it seems I actually have: Brazilian, Cavendish, Namwah, Dwarf Red, Gros Michel, Pisang Ceylon, Veinte Cohol and SH 3640, and American Goldfinger. FHIA 1, Paggi and FHIA 17... Always room for one more.
