Default A banana newbie..
Hello! im a newbie here & also a newbie in growing bananas. I live in zone 8 Downunder... So far i only have 2 banana trees, 1 ladyfinger for cool climate & 1 musa banana palm ( i hope this is a fruiting one?)...Soon i'll be getting dwarf red dakar (spell?),a new addition to the family...I hope i'll be able to gain more knowledge on how to grow banana successfully from all the banana's experts here...

Ladyfinger and Dwarf Red are known bananas, don't know what Musa
banana palm is. Maybe you can upload a picture in your gallery?

Thanks for everybody's warm welcome & im starting to feel @ home here....W/ regards to my unknown "Musa banana palm", that's what it says on the name tag,..im beginning to wonder whether it's a fruiting one or not? I hope somebody here will be able to help me to identify this unknown Musa, pls! pls! pls!....

Hi! Richard, i live down south in Victoria....I think the nana's quarantine has been lifted, but im not 100% sure.
