Default Banana Man

When I was a kid, 50 yrs ago, Bozo the Clown was the hot show of the day. And, I waited and waited for the Banana Man to make the scene. And, when he came on he always pulled along a small train of carts. Then with a long ohhhhh, and owwww, he would begin to pull banana after banana from every unimaginable part of his clothing. He would magically fill all of the carts he had, then off he would go until tomorrow. What a treat this guy was in my life. I will never forget the joy.

Welcome, Lipmaster. Boy, I'd love to know the background to your screen name! What types of bananas are you growing, and where do you hail from? You'll find us friendly (maybe a tad crazy at times), and there are many knowledgeable growers here if you have any questions

PS- I'm 61....where did he hide all those nanas???

Um... I remember Bozo the Clown...I'm 21(x2)...

I was 8, in Dec. 1975, Columbus, OH, my Dad worked Venture for Value City/Schottenstein's Stores & Bozo the Clown came out to the car & brought us balloons(no bananas ), while Mom & Dad packed the old pea green wood side-paneled Pontiac Grand Safari Stationwagon with my sister(5yo) & my's Christmas presents. We got to hug Bozo & thank him too! Was a good day, that day...

Wow, little rascals bring back some memories. Did they ever have a real plot? I just picture the gang sitting on a curb somewhere with the background music........you remember.... wah, wahwah, wah wah,,,waaaaah .....wah , wahwah,,,,, wah wah............" I don't wanna go to school today" ..... wah, wahwah , wah wah waaaah......... "me niether".... then the adventures started. Good stuff.

I always find it interesting that as kids, simple stuff kept us happy. We played outside A LOT no computers, no cell phones, very little TV but what there was was good. Those were the days! SBL if have a couple of super dwarf cavandish and I also grow citrus in containers. This is a great, site lots of information, and very nice folks

LipMaster is a slam name for running your mouth to much. With 30+ yrs of construction and hundreds of employees, it doesn't take long for a name to get attached. Skully is a name that goes with an awsome bar I built just cause I could. Its now my office and buddy hang out. We have blue grass band players come every other Fri and jam into the nite. A true blast. I play base fiddle, jaws harp, spoons and banjo. I have never played banana cultivator though I am finding it interesting. Maybe I will buy one soon and I will have something more in common with all of youse guys. I live in Va and grew in Ma. Sounds weird! Later........

Welcome to the organization Lipmaster.

May your bananas receive good weather and good growth, and may plenty of clean water be available!
