Back Gate will be open for all on September 18th
 

I know probably no one on here will be able to make it, but I wanted to invite anyone that would like to my house on the 18th of September. That is the day before the Southeastern Palm Society's Fall Meeting in Knoxville, TN. I have invited anyone traveling to it or in the area that can come, to drop by the house and visit. So, if there are any of you, either living close, or traveling near Cleveland, TN on Friday the 18th, that can stop in I would love to meet you and let you check out some of my goodies out in the back yard. IF you think you can make it, pm me, and I will be happy to give you my address and/or directions.
I just wanted to invite you folks here because in my book, there ain't a better group of "crazies" anywhere!!!!

What a gracious offer, Thank You Randy, I wish I could just come down to visit with you and check out your yard in person, unfortunatly, I'm in school and the wife, kids and school have priority over what I"LD like to do. Thanks for the offer though. Gee I wish I could come down and see in person what I've been looking at on the Org for the past two years, I love your yard photos. Best wishes, but then again, it's only about a 8-10 hours drive. Hmmmmm. The 18th is a Friday, shoot I have a class from 9am-12pm that day. Dang I just can't win!!:bananas_b :ha:

It's that "Southern Hospitality" that I love:). That's so nice of you invite ppl to your home - & may I say well worth someone going out of their way for! I'm sure you know many of my friends from SC, NC & VA whom are members & will be there. Ned from Plantfolks, & Stan -McKenzie farms are just 2.
I've seen pics of your yard for 3 years now & have to say you motivate me into that 'tropical' look which I just love - if for only a few months..
Tennessee is one of my favorite states to drive thru. For a few years, going south to Fl, Chattanooga was our 1/2 point to take a motel ( not far from you). Was also in Gatlinberg for 2 (free) nights on the way back one year. Reminded me of Wisconsin Dells here LOL. A tourist trap! But, the scenery is beautiful.
May I extend the same invite? If you're ever in the area, let me know. I'll show you my house & garden (& palms!) & take you 30 miles north to Mike's house & show you my "tropical Island" (you inspired me) & veggie garden there.

Randy thank you for your kind invitation to visit i so wish i could be there unfortunately its a far bit of a jump for me on such short notes but let me exstend the same invitation to you if you are ever in Vegas let me know and all have you over for dinner and we can yak Bananas

Thanks, Randy. One of these days I'll actually make it to one of the Society meetings! I guess I'll have to fall back on your pics until I get to Tennessee.

Randy - thank you for the kind invitation but I can't make it! I hope you have a great get-together and get to meet all those folk you have spoken to online. Party on dude!!!!
