I've been reading posts for a while and decided to join and get some additional info. I haven't grown bananas yet but am looking forward to spring to start making my back yard a little more tropical. Oh I did'nt tell you I live in southwest Michigan. So I am going to need all the help I can get. I do the usual garding stuff like tomato's, cucumbers, peppers (red, green) stuff like that along with giant 10' sunflowers. My yard gets full sun in the summer and I have a sprinkler system for the grass and graden.

Hi Dave, and welcome!
Congrats on the decision to grow bananas, you should do fine!
They're a very rewarding, fast growing choice for your garden.
Thanks for taking the moment to join, we're glad to have ya here.
Apologies in advance if I am slow to reply to your PM. I suggest posting in the forums for support if you need something urgent.
