The photo gallery has been installed a few days ago and it now seems reliable enough to be tested by all members.

Members can host all their images here at Bananas.org.

There is a link at the top of this page, it's at the top left corner at the moment. Take a moment and look. See it?

Photo Gallery

There you are able to upload your photos. All your photos will be associated with your username.
You can create personal albums, for example, you may want a seperate folder for each of your banana strains. In time, the more photos you upload, you may wish to add new albums and keep everything neat and tidy.

Another main point is the image rotation feature.
To rotate an image, just upload it, then click edit photo once the photo is here on the server.
'Rotate CCW' means rotate the photo Counter Clockwise.
'Rotate CW' means rotate the photo Clockwise.

This is a work in progress, please report any bugs or errors you may encounter. Questions and support, of course, will also be given.

Fixed a small bug where very large image uploads were failing.

• I changed the allowed image height and width.

• I changed the filesize (in megabytes) limitation.

• I also changed the max. execution time.

This was the final parameter that needed to be changed, as the other changes had been made many weeks ago, but I was still having issues getting large images to upload. I found what the problem was; increasing the capability of php on the server worked like a charm.

So, if you tried to upload images in the past, but it didn't go so well, please try the same pictures again. You may be surprised to see that they will upload correctly.
