New feature to enhance sending private messages
Now when you click to send someone a PM, if it was the SendPM link from a post of theirs, it references the post in the PM.
Confused yet? Click the SendPM button on this post and see how it references this very post in the PM itself. Hit preview and you'll see how it becomes a link. This is useful because sometimes PM's get sent to members and the sender continues a conversation from a thread, and sometimes, it's confusing for the recipient to understand what the sender is referring to if the details are vague. Now the PM will start off with: "In Reply to your Post (post link here)..." So you now have a link to exactly where they were just before sending you the PM. Enjoy!  |
