Hi Jack ! It's just satire (think that's what it's called). Kayne West is a black rap singer (if ya call that singing, dont like rap). He also is a Strong supporter of Beyonce (a female singer). When Taylor Swift (female singer, kind of country pop) won the award for "best female music video" (MTV awards), last Sunday, people came to the stage & took the microphone to congratulate her (she was very happy & thankful for the award).
Kayne West got up there, took the mic, & told everybody that Beyonce had the best music video ever. This kind of shocked poor Taylor Swift, she even cried over it during an interview. Nobody should do something as nasty as West did at a time like that, ever!
Later, after Patrick Swayce (another celebrity) died of pancreatic cancer (this week), West wrote in a blog:
"Yo, Patrick, I'ma let you have your moment, but Michael Jackson had one of the best deaths of all time - one of the best deaths of all time!".
Since Kayne West is such a KillJoy (& disrespectful of the dead), people have decided he'll probably continue to trash everybody's fun....
Anyway, that's what's happening and it's in the news (in the U.S., anyway).

Kanye West is a [terrible] rap artist that has an undeserved sense of accomplishment. Basically he acts like he's the coolest man alive and that he's God's gift to the world. That pretty much sums it up.

Thanx, Richard ! Checked out a song called "Spinning Wheels" on utube! Not bad for Blues stuff, kind of upbeat even!
Actually, there are only a few "Country pop" singers I listen to much: Taylor Swift being one of them. Am Very into Electronica, Wonky pop, & Alternative Rock. My absolute Faves right now are Dan Black, Arctic Monkeys, & the earlier Uh Oh Explosion stuff !! But David Clayton-Thomas was a nice break in the routine!!

OMG... Patrick Swayze died? Last week? Dirty Dancing Swayze? Wow. Times have changed since I last saw a (in)credible piece of information. Gotta love him in few movies, like Ghost, DD... Well, we're all gonna end there one day, so here's to a legend he deserved to be. (there were no toasting sad bananas!)

Maybe he doesn't realize that the biggest god's gift will be when Kanye simply disappears from showbiz and media one day.

Well, I have no issue with moderators deleting posts deemed to be of 'questionable content' or of an 'offensive nature' (or parts of posts). My big thing would be for them to use the feature where they leave a message telling why the post was deleted so we can at least see that there was something there once....and know why it was removed. I was a moderator on a site for several years that used the same software this site uses, so I know that this is possible. I always put a message in there like 'content removed...argumentative' or whatever, depending on the situation just so the poster (and other members) know something was removed and why.

Sorry...back on topic....
