BananaBucks Shop installed!

As a couple guys have already noticed, we now have a BananaBucks Shop!
It is there that you can do some interesting things such as make your username and usertitle customized, with colors, fonts, and other effects.

Over the next few days I will be further customizing it and enabling other features, such as the ability to make your threads stand out with personal expressions, such as highlighting your threads when they appear in the forums and search results. You will also be able to bold your thread title, italic your thread title, underline thread title, add a shadow to it, make it glow, and some other interesting things.

Some of the things do not work in all browsers at this time, but perhaps when the browser wars play out for a few more years the standards will be agreed upon.

Everyone has been asking what on earth do these banana bucks do, and so I'm happy to finally make it a little clearer with this upgrade. As I mentioned earlier in the bananabucks announcement thread and perhaps elsewhere, one day they will also be exchangeable for live banana plants.

In your Quick Links fold out menu near the upper right corner of all the pages, you can find the link to our new BananaBucks Shop.

OK everyone, check out what you can do now! It's a work in progress, but most of it is completed. Please report any errors and questions about how to use it, or if you experience anything that seems strange or not setup properly.

When I visited the "Gifts" and "Ribbons" sections, the items icon was missing (X displayed) and the scroll down menu was empty. Otherwise, I'm lovin' it!

One, what is the arcade? I heard something about being able to buy passes that let you play some arcade for free.

Two, what will the gifts be?

The arcade is not here... yet!
The gifts will be ribbons you can send to people that will appear in their profile. Each ribbon supports different causes, or is a fun novelty item. It will make more sense when you see it!
