No, auctions you win are paid with actual money. All auctions are in USD.
She was asking if she does a trade with someone who will accept B$, how to transfer them to the other person.

About the 2% charge for transfer into / out of savings. Suppose I transfer 1000 B$ into savings from checking. Will the additional 20 B$ be deducted from checking, or will my net deposit be 980 B$ ?

Deducted from the deposit. You would end up with 980 in savings.

I have updated the verbiage:

Minimum savings of 500 BananaBucks required for 2% interest every 30 days.
Deposits require pending time of 1 days before interest accrues, or a 5% early withdrawal fee applies.
Maximum savings of Unlimited BananaBucks allowed.
Transaction fee of 2% applies on all transfers, deducted from the deposit amount.

So them if you are selling or trading an item, you would need to list all the ways you are willing or can except a payment? example ....Paypal, check or Bananabucks

I like the banana bucks idea. It would be nice to be this web site currency. Most of the members that are looking to trade bananas are not looking at making money just covering costs. When I get a abundance of pups I will will sell them for banana bucks only. But it looks like we have inflation already. Are banana bucks going to be banana pennies? Your thoughts Glenn

Ok, So I was changing some thing in my profile yesterday, When I left I had like 1200+, and now I have 878. I changed my email, and undid some subscriptions, so did that delete all the banana bucks? What gives? I'm waaaaaaaaaaaay confused now.

Yes. In a few days I will release a new version of the auctions.
It's basically BETA at the moment, will be moving to GOLD soon and incorporating many new features that its lacking now, such as provisions for other types of payments, a shipping calculator, and other things to make it more intuitive. Some things may take longer than others, though.

Zac
Zac, no way would that have lowered your counts. You only loose credits when you donate them to others, when you buy something like an auction or a featured listing, or when you delete a post of yours, things like that. Changing your email address is not going to do it. Neither are thread subscriptions. You DO get B$ for filling out your profile, so if you cleared out some profile fields, that may have deducted some, but not nearly that many, profile fields only give you a few (single digits). I did re-run the calculations once since the system was launched, as there was a slight bug with it that I corrected and then recalculated. I would attribute it to that. Regards

Glenn perhaps we need to bring Greenspan on as a member!
Or on the other hand...
Regarding the pups you plan on selling for B$, that's awesome, thanks.
I'm planning on doing the same.

Certainly, just clarify it in the text so the buyer understands. We will have a system to allow people to pay with either, should you choose to.
