Hi Anna,

Let me add my congratulations on the imminent flowering of your Ice cream from the other side of the pond.

Musa Ice Cream is one of the few edible cultivars available here in the UK. I've got a few myself.

What's the pseudostem's flowering height? Maybe I work out how many years I'll have to wait before I'm possibly similarly blessed with some homegrown nanas to eat.

Hope the eating's all that you hope for.

Congratulations! :nanadrink:

Why do the banana plants make these flag leafs?

What height is it on?

Thanks Paul and Gard!

The plant is - just a guess - maybe 10'. I was surprised that it was already ready to bloom. But very excited! :2703:
