Seems the site is being attacked by spam this week...
Site hasn't been hacked has it? Posts on phone sales showing up but no link...weird!

Well, the bigger a website becomes (and the longer it's been around), the more spam it is likely to attract. Just kinda the way it goes. I have yet to see any here, so apparently the Mods are doing a great job at keeping it at bay! Thanks Mod staff, as always!

Folks, switch to GMail. The only company reading your e-mails will be Google (and sometimes hackers), total privacy against spam guaranteed. :D

the more likely culprit is that the spam bot is in your computer and its posting adds on to any blank space that comes up i don't see any spam but i do have fortress of blocking and scanning programs to aided in there capture

Dunno. I haven't run into any spam, yet. But believe me, if I do, I'll be right back to report it! Hate spam, even with mayo, lettuce, & tomatoes!
Thanx Mitchel! Almost forgot what it looks like!

People use scripts to post that spam to thousands of forums in one click. We thwart 99.9% of it using technology (filters, algorithms, etc.) but some gets through. And when it does, we clean it up promptly. If you see a spammy thread just click the report post icon to alert the staff and it'll be dealt with promptly.

ya you guys are doing a great job... but the link still shows up in the recipe section when you are on the front page. But when you clik on the link it is an invalid link.

I noticed that earlier this week too & nothing there when I clicked on it. I just noticed now that it is finally gone...it was there for a long time it seems.
How'd it get in banana recipe forum LOL?

Jarred has said he would work on a solution to this latest nuisance. In the meantime, I'll delete/ban them as soon as I can after they get reported or I see them.

Noticing lots of spam photos. Don't now how to report them. Do I need to do each user name in a PM?

just send me a PM to notify me and I'll take care of it when I have time. I mentioned this issue with Jarred before and he was investigating a way to reduce this problem.
