With my mom's condition rapidly going downhill I started sorting through thousands of old photos looking for the right ones to use for her memorial service and quite a few of them made me laugh out loud.

My mom is front center, her mom is top center, stepfather top left. This image is from an old negative that's too big for my negative scanner to do so I made a jig and scanned it in 3 pieces then did my best to assemble them in photoshop.

Gosh Mitchel, I really am sorry to hear about your mom, but I'm enjoying your shots immensely. That one with the kids and the one little guy showing his pot belly is so funny. The girl beside him looks like she can't inch far enough away! :ha:


That shot of your mom on the green car, is gorgeous. She's so pretty and cute. I think it's great what you're doing with the pictures, and maybe later you can make an album with all of them in one place. I have one with pics of my dad and brother.

Lovely black n whites...I love those old pics they used to take,

No long nose cameras in those days, just sweetness. I think the reason for the graininess is the photo paper they used for the image..after the shot.

I saw a man the other day on TV and his camera lens almost was in the next field lolol

Ante, I also am very good at growing weeds. That is pretty. We are always careful about new things growing in the yard and pasture. Many birds fly through here on their migrations and some drop off a well fertilized seed or two and one never knows what they may see.

Blake, nice looking birdhouse gourds. Hope they get big for you. Mine never seem to get too large but our soil is very poor and we are on a constant program to improve it. Think I will grow some in a 5 gallon bucket and feed it good, maybe they will get bigger.
