A few weeks ago I noticed what was suppossed to be a Grand Nain flowering. The now unknown banana is moving along in the process. Any help with the ID would be much appreciated. The banana has many close bunched pups and is atleast 17 feet tall. As many of you get ready for the cold many of us are enjoying flowers and fruit. I thought I would give a picture update.

Very nice indeed! Looks like you have quite the bounty growing right now! I can't really help you on the ID, but looks like things are going well for ya. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Sorry I can't help with the banana ID either. What kind of Thai papaya and how tall is yours? Is it in ground or potted? What about your plumeria, potted or inground?

Thanks,

The papaya was sold as a Thai variety and no other name. It is in the ground and is five feet tall. It was put in the ground this year and it is the first year to fruit. I have 10 or 11 Plumerias. I have some in the ground and some in pots. Many have come from my travels to Hawaii. I have known varieties of variegated Ploy Chompu, Splash White Lavendar, Supervirus and unknown varieties of pink, white and red colors. The picture I posted was a potted plant that is three feet tall from Kona.
