The fried plantains are a great companion for many foods, but also are an excellent breakfast or as a starter
Ingredients:
2 ripe Plantains
1 tablespoon canola or sunflower
Optional-cheese (feta if you want a salty cheese such as mozzarella or grated cheese or another that melts well)
Preparation:
Peel the bananas and cut them, cut them the best way is to make diagonal cuts, not very thick, also can be cut into long pieces but sometimes it is easier to cook when there are very large.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat, add the bananas when the oil is hot
Ripe plantains are cooked very quickly, it is important to virarlos(turn) not to burn then , the ideal is that they are golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot , simply add the feta cheese sprinkle over the plantains, you can also use grated cheese or queso fresco and let the cheese melts.
