Hello All,
What a wonderful site! I live in Tucson, Arizona - elevation 2300', off a wash. We receive limited annual rain, 8-10 inches a year, so I harvest my own rainwater. I'm an avid vegetable gardener and I've grown things that people say "that will never grow in Tucson". I believe in micro-climates and now I'm trying my green thumb with tropicals. I have a Dwarf Cavendish banana tree and I want it to bear fruit. This is a new plant, to me, and it was purchased from Tropical Mango, in Phoenix. Originally it was two feet tall and had two pups. Now it stands three feet with four pups. It's in a 24" diameter pot, with excellent drainage. I'm going to need some advise, so please feel free to drop me a line.
Thanks for all your help.
