Default A little help..please
What banana has a red main rib in the middle of the leaf and the entire leaf bordered in red?
Is there an easy way to tell if the banana is dwarf without waiting to see how big it grows b/4 it fruits?
There's a bit of a story, I bought 9 bananas from member Sunfish and my son (aka Loinfruit) didn't label any of them. So I been slowly identifying them with help from a friend of mine. But I got three unknowns....

I know more than dozen varieties that have both: red midribs and red edges. Even DCs have many leaves as you describe them (not all though).

You can see, whether the plant will be tall or dwarf, by their 5 consecutive larger leaf petioles. If those petioles are close, the banana is smaller, if they are further away, then the banana is usually much taller.

That's all I will be able to help you out with.

Yeah, pictures would be very helpful for the experts to identify your unknown plants. As Jack said, dwarf varieties usually have densely stacked petioles rather than tall varieties with larger spaces between them. That's the only way I know to tell them apart (and it's not really an exact science, as it's pretty subjective).

OK I put a photo of the three I don't know...actuall it's a photo of about nine but it's only the three closest to the camera I can't ID....
