Great picture! I wish mine was more bright red like yours is. Mine is pretty dark-red almost maroon.

well to date there have been no reports of any one having ever gotten one to bloom there are statements that it has a seeded fruit but since no one has published a paper scientific or other wise all believe it when i see it it probably will bloom but has a particular set of requirements that no one knows about as of yet i have found that my SR grows better then most i think its the heat here in Vegas its unscientific but they don't grow fast until the temps get over 90 and as you can see from the color my plant dose seem to be thriving and have a particularly bright apperince its pushing a leaf every 3 days even at 105 highs i am using K-mag on it i just started that 3 weeks ago and it was about a week after i fertilized it that the color changed from dark red to bright

Anyone notice that SR have thinner leaves than most other bananas? Mine has very flimsy feeling leaves compared to my other plants.
Sorry...a little off topic, but I figured while we're discussing Siam Ruby it was at least a little relevant.
