Well, 1 and 1/2 year update... I just wanted to post some pictures to show how everything can change so quickly. First picture of a comparison is from Spring 2008, then the second picture is from July/August 2009. I have really developed as a person and also as a gardener in my ideas and gained so much knowledge over my stay thanks to the great people here on Bananas.org and many elsewhere. After some trouble with my M. basjoo and M. 'Raja puri' which didn't return this spring, I have changed up the back bed some.
Here is a newly planted Dwarf Orinoco...
