I have access to gypsum from a coal fired power plant. It is supposed to be high in sulpher and calcium without messing with the ph. Wondering if anyone has used it on bananas.

Gypsum is often used as a soil conditioner, it is not a fertilizer. Also, I believe your local soil is high in Calcium so it is probably a poor idea to add more.
