Vegetable trees!:ha: I seriously doubt she was talking about Malunggay trees! I think this qualifies as one of the funniest things I've ever seen!

Absolutely terrifying. And I'm upset that I must have missed out on all the East Coast people having slaves, and we're not even in the Union. :ha:

Maybe she should read Karl Marx - Communism...
She would definitely identify her thoughts with him.
Here I wrote a very long text, but I believe, that it would only be a reason for fighting in this thread, so I deleted it all...
Btw did she really say "vegatable trees" in 1:41? Yep, like carrots grow on trees, what interesting news for me. Lettuces as well... probably. :D
Let me go check my carrot tree for a second, I think I'd better prune it soon, cause it's growing to my neighbour's yard. :D
Also ".. you have to pay for the land... but why do we have to pay for the land, land's free..."
Yeah, the only reason for all wars in the past, present and future. Dominance over territory. But yeah, right, it's free.
This woman is not hilarious. More like pathetic.

And...ah....we should...um...like totally plant vegetable trees...and....ah...like freeze the vegetebles....cause....ah...frozen vegetables last forever....and ahh....we need the perfect fertilizer....that like really healthy for people and the....ah....plants.
OMFG...does she listen to herself talk? I've heard a lot of children with much better ideas and more knowledge about such things. I'm all for the public voicing concerns/ideas/suggestions, but PLEASE be informed about such things BEFORE opening your mouth! It was pretty entertaining to see how far she took it though. It's almost like she lived in a hole her entire life and was ignorant to everything going on in the world and her community...then decided to voice her ideas on how she's going to make everything better.
Aight...enough ranting...I'm gonna go plant some carrot trees and freeze some tomatoes now so I can eat em when I'm 75! LMFAO!! :ha::ha::ha:

It would nice to pick your veggies off a dwarf sized tree! And just think how much more productive the migrant farm workers would be if they didn't have to bend over all day!

You're, right, Mitch! It wasn't Malunggay, she was actually talking about the Katuray tree!

That's an interesting tree Chong.

Not quite the same in terms of medicinal properties as the Malunggay, but the Katuray has about the same nutritional qualities, with the Katuray blossoms probably a little tastier when eaten raw. How did you know about Malunggay? If you have access to fresh beans, you'll never get arthritis.

I leaned about it while researching a recipe. Found a word/ingrediant I didn't know,(not the pods) searched and found a recipe in another langauge, did more searching, one thing leads to another I and stumbled accros the Malunggay tree. Hadn't thought about since, then I heard her say vegetable tree and I remembered there was an actual vegetable tree, so I searched again to find the name. Kind of the same story for Inasal Chicken. I started with Tanglad and ended up making a dish I'd never had nor even heard of! Gotta love the Google!

Hey,
we South Carolina people take pride in our slaves. We don't want her. But seriously that was hard to watch, I am scared b/c she believed what she was saying and she can vote.

Ohio, it is "educashun sistem." Where did you learn to spell?
Salty, I think several of us here in FL should pool our money and get a slave who we could timeshare. I know a slave would be pretty handy for me. Maybe the slave could work our booth at the farmers market selling our free food.
Mitchel, got that right! Next year my carrot tree will be grafted to a dwarfing rootstock since I'm become more aware of my mortality in the last decade and climbing the ladder to harvest them red rascals is getting scary.
Last, I think they should put a limit on how much "home growing" you can do without a license, I think this lady inhaled just a little too much.
