I received my banana rhizomes this morning. :guitarris:08::0518::2182::ukkibannana: I ordered three Praying Hands Bananas. I will be raising then indoors for now until I get a climate controlled greenhouse area built. Does anyone have any tips on indoor growing for babies? The pics are in my gallery. http://www.bananas.org/gallery/uploads/5721/DSC02819.JPG http://www.bananas.org/gallery/uploads/5721/DSC02822.JPG http://www.bananas.org/gallery/uploads/5721/DSC02821.JPG http://www.bananas.org/gallery/uploads/5721/DSC02823.JPG

I'd say pot them in well-draining soil, give em a decent watering (not light and not soaking) and place them in partial sun for several days while they get acclimated to their new pots. After that, work them up to more and more sunlight. Allow them to dry out a bit between waterings (and not just the surface, but deep in the soil as well) as it will promote the roots to grow outward to look for water (and prevents rot).
That's all I've got for now. They'd do best outside (even if still in the pot) once they're acclimated to the new pots. If you plan to do this, you will need to slowly/gradually get them used to full sun over a week or two otherwise they might get sunburnt (especially this time of summer). Hope that helps!

Hi Bob, good thoughts to you. A live Frampton show is really an experience. I see him as often as I can. Here is a video that I shot of him last year. YouTube - Peter Frampton - Show Me The Way 07/12/08 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgeL-G6rfHk)
