I received two bananas that were sold to me as dwarf orinocos but they each seem to have a different appearance. I suspect one is a different type but I hope it is a dwarf due to the location of their new home.
The one on the bottom is from Wellspring and is recovering nice and the picture shows the new leaf that open last night. The other (top) is from the potters garden and the leaves are glossier and don't have the waterproof beading effect when water hits it. It is having a harder time recovering from the trip home.
Does Wellspring have a good enough reputation that I should trust that it truely a dwarf orinoco?
Either way I am excited to see what develops.
