I took it of the underside of a leaf as the leaves are the same color on top and bottom and I remember reading here that the color of the underside can make a difference in id. The leaves all start out much greener, especially on the bottom and the purple shading not only spreads but also darkens with age. Id help would be appreciated but I am assuming zebrina.

I bought it at a roadside nursery that just had it labled muso banana, figured it would be sonething more mundane
Great first plant and already has a pup. I bet you have more by summers end. Good luck with it,:woohoonaner:

Siam Ruby, and a pretty one at that! The leaves get brighter red with sun exposure. Nice pic, thanks for sharing!:bananas_b
