Something is definetly wrong with my naners. Can some one give me a clue?

First it started with my Basjoo. Dark leaves, then the leaves died off and the the stem started to get mushy. So we cut it down but now all the pups have black patches on the edge of the leaves.

And now my Cavendish is starting to have a dark spot over night on the newest leave *sigh*

Any advise would be appreciated.

My Cavendishes did this, when they were either burnt from the sun (when I accidentally watered them on the leaves) or when it was too cold for them, than the weaker and older leaves started to literally rot on the p-stem. The only effective solution I found to my problem was to cut the leaves, otherwise the whole leaf would be affected and it would be a waste of time and energy for the naner to grow it.
Also, in your case, it might be a different kind of rotting? Maybe soil bound?
Maybe someting else? Dunno, haven't seen basjoo behave like this in my life.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. Some animals (birds, insects) tend to eat away small parts of the naner, so it migjt start rotting like this after that. But seeing your pups, I think the reason might be in soil. Try complete soil change and clean off the roots in hypermangan.

Thanks Jack. I might have to just do that. I first thought it was getting to much water since it been raining a lot here in SC. :(
