Depends on what you are growing it for, Fruit or Foliage? I use Grow More 20-5-30, that is good for Fruit Production.

Welcome aboard, Klucas :) ! I think you'll find this a very friendly & informative site, I did!
Plant care & fertilization is a great art. You'll find lots of info in the "Plant soil, additives, & fertilization" section on Homepage! Hope to see you in the forums. Enjoy!

Hello klucas. I can't help with your question. I am poor with a lot of bananas so for me it's whatever is cheapest.

Welcome, Klucas. I can't help you with a premix fertilizer either - I use volcanic ash and composted manure.

Hammer I have not had a real problem with anything I have. Some will die back more then others but they always come back. The only trick is getting them to fruit in time to harvest. Tell your brother to visit the Bamboo Farm. They grow maybe thirty different varieties if not more. They also sell some of them in october during the festival.
