The fruit shape don't look like Ice Cream to me cos they are slightly angular compared to normal cav types....

That's awesome. At first I thought this thread was going to contain a picture of the sun! It has been absent around here lately.
How old is the Banana?

The mat is 11 mos. old. I threw some grocery store nanners ontop of the pup for fun! They almost broke the leaf thats holding them lol. A long way to go before this one produces fruit. Nanner Nanner!!!!

I am still laughing! You sure had me, cuz I've never even grown a banana plant before. My eyes were bulging out of my head when I saw your pic. It's even more funny that some of you experienced banana growers fell for it!!! : O
Way to go, Proletariatcsp!
You have a great sense of humor. Thanks for the laugh.

Thats rediculous, its just easier to pick that way lol. I have seen and read of people intentionally cutting their plants in half so that the fruit will be closer to the ground. Besides, my neighbor put a fake snake in a birdnest that fooled me; the next time he got me to look, there was actually a real snake and it almost bit me!!!
But I must also confess, it takes so long to get bananas that I have been tempted once or twice to duct tape a hand or two at the top just to hold me over!:nanadrink:

If my IC doesn't flower this summer I just may do the same :) Since it's out in front, it may cause a few accidents from people doing double takes LOL Love it!!
