hi:woohoonaner:today i tried to seperate the pups from the mother plant of musella lasiocarpa, and how differcult was that,i managed to take 4 pups, and there is still more to go,but now i have left more pups with main plant because, they are so close to the mother plant, any advice on seperating the pups, without damaging the mother plant, and, how large would you leave the pups until removing them from the main plant?also i removed one pup,but didnt get any root,i have now put rooting powder on the base and potted it up,hoping it might take?dont know if i have done right here, help:waving:

Jazz, this species tends to pup like mad and very closely, so it's hell to separate them. If you are not in a hurry, I would advise putting the whole clump into a bigger pot and let them grow to a decently bigger size before cutting it up. This way, you are assured of better chances of the pups making it.
