Here is some shots of my Backyard. The Plants are bigger than they look in the Photos. Most of the bigger Banana Plants are "Orinocos".

Wow, that's really nice. I am in zone 8a. What are the types of Bananas shown in the pictures? All Orinoco? I would like to know what will grow here in Virginia before I spend my money on a waste.

WOW!!!! I sure hope my bananas grow up to look like that someday. I just love your yard.

How close would you space bananas? I'm preparing a few beds for mine - so far 8' seems to be a good number, methinks.

Even if you lived in zone 7 where you have to dig them out and hide them under the house for winter?

Thanks to everyone for all the nice compliments!! I am going to store the plants in my outside bldg...My crawl space under my house is just too small.
Have a lot of work to do this Fall but I think it's worth it! :04:

ok now i have banana envy!!!! they look wonderful. lots of work, but the payoff is just beautiful! hopefully, one day my yard will look like that.:pinwheelnaner:
