I think there is still a little residue from when the site was off line, a couple of days ago.
Example: It is now 2:15 PM, on Sunday, Jun 7. However, on the main, or first, page (the one that lists all the different discussions, main banana, tissue culture, tiki hut, etc., etc.) the last post listed , in the Introductions, New Members section, is, "Today 4:10 PM" 4:10 doesn't occur until almost two hours from now. When I click on the Introductions page, I find this thread ("Hi") is the fifth one down, and last post is listed as 06-05-09, 4:10 PM. (Friday at 4:10 PM)
Several of the other discussions have a similar error.

You want a real mindbender? Your post, in which you say it's 2:15, shows up for me as having been posted at 1:25 PM and I've got the same 4:10 PM friday error.

If it was 2:15 by you, it was 1:15 by me. Your post says 12:25.
This is posting as 12:56 & it's 1:56.

I'm still experiencing messed up times, and I can't figure it out. For you, Lorax, it seems like my last posting is correct. I wrote it on Sunday, June 7, at 2:15 PM, and posted at 2:25 PM, Eastern Daylight Saving Time. Looking in my atlas, it seems that we are in the same time zone but, if Ecuador doesn't use Daylight Savings, it would be 1:25. Patty, yours seems to be one hour off, like you're still on Central Standard Time. Did your computer not adjust the time, when we went from Standard to Daylight Saving?

It seems that several postings that were made on Friday, June 5, roughly between 1:00 PM, and 5:00 PM, Eastern Dalight Saving Time, have the correct time, but are still listed as, "Today" on the main page. (the page that has the recent picture uploads across the top)

My puter has correct time but I used Mike's puter & HIS is 1 hour slow. That's the culprit here:)

John, why would we need Daylight Savings here in Ecuador? Our days are 12 hours long, plus or minus 30 minutes seasonally.

OK, Patty - We've solved the problem there. On my puter, Microsoft automatcally updates, when we switch times between Standard & Daylight.

Beth (Lorax) - Sorry, I wasn't thinking , but apparently that solves your time problem also. I lived in Newfoundland for a couple of years, and we had a profound difference in day length.

I've never been to Ecuador, but have been to several of the islands, and Trinidad, and Guyana. I remember, when I was in those places, that I noticed, in the summer, that the days were so much shorter than here.

However, all of this doesn't clear up the mess on the website. I uploaded a few pictures today and when I first look at the site, my pictures are there, but when I go to another page, and come bqack to the main page. I' m looking at pictures from a couple of days a go, and have to click on, "Refresh" to get the current ones back.

Still not fixed, and still confusing.

Maybe try clearing your cookies and your internet cache, and re-logging in.

Beth - In your first reply to this thread, you said you had the same Friday error. If that's the case, how will my clearing cookies, etc. do anything?
