hi i have a musa basjoo,and would like to know can you over feed them,my new basjoo pups have come through but the new leaves seem,slightly twisted and not flat,could this be the cause of too much nitrogen?thanks jazz

Yes, you can overfeed musa basjoo. I did one summer. The results will be brown areas on the lower to middle leaves like it has some disease. I can't comment on what's happening with yours right now, but keep in mind they can be overfed.

hi yes the leaves have gone brown on the edges,ive cut the first 2 set of leaves,and now the new leaves are clear green,but slightly twisted?

You can overfeed anything. Hopefully, with time and water you'll dilute the amt. of nitrogen you gave it and new leaves coming out will eventually return to normal.

I would say don't fertilize it for a few months. It does sounds like overfertilization.
