OK. I am currently soaking about 20 seeds in water. I got styrofoam cups I poped holes in filled with a special potting mix. After I sow the seeds, where should I put them?

Should I put them in the dark, or sun? Should I cover or let air out? I read a bunch of thread but can't find it.

thanks

I would keep them covered to keep the humidity up and moisture in. Dark or light not spose to matter. Temp may be your main objective now. Are they Musa or ensete?

They are both Musa. One is pink velvet and the other is Acuminata Dwarf.

If I cover to keep moisture in, do I still water occasionally?

You shouldn't need to if you cover them with a plastic bag. They need an alternating temperature cycle. 12 hours at about 25-30 degrees and 12 hours cooler temperatures about 15-18 degrees. The pink velvet if they are fresh should come up after about four weeks, don't know about the others.
