I have a 2ish week old bloodleaf. Every day the leafs are folded in and at night they open. Is this due to too much sun? I could not find any good info on this plant and proper care. It receives full sun daily at around 75-85f currently. I gave my first dose of fert yesterday and a leaf finished that night today it has a odd crinkle in it and some sort of scar. I will take and post pics in a little bit.

I think that's normal, it's stopping itself from losing too much water in the sun and as the sun goes in the leaves re open. As for the crinkle/scar sounds like it got creased in the wind as it was un folding. These are the trials and tribulations of a banana owner. Bananas generally like full sun and it will adapt if it isn't used to it ie been grown in artificial light or in a shady spot. So don't worry

Thanks a lot for replay that makes sense it was windy last night. I will now go move my plant back to the sun =]
