I'm fairly new to gardening, and just ordered my first dwarf banana pups. I'm super excited, and look forward to learning a whole lot from the people on this website. Thanks for having me :)

I am so happy you joined. You will not be a newcomer to gardening long - not if I can help it.

Now we can learn all about banana growing together! I am glad you got yourself a plant. I am working on getting one soon - either store bought, or seed grown.

Howdy Laticauda, and welcome to the org. You'll find us a friendly bunch, and by researching the older threads you'll find most of the answers to any questions you may have. If not, ask away. And it always helps if you enter your location and zone in your profile; it will help in getting the proper advice for your area. Also, are you by any chance a diver (your screen name = banded sea snake)?

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone!
I am not a diver, but I do love the ocean, and I'm a long time herpetoculturist (reptiles, amphibians) and I greatly admire the silent grace and beauty of the banded sea krait (Laticauda colubrina.)

Ijust got my two baby bananas today! I'm so excited :)
