Hello Ya'll,

Ever feel like you are being watched? This is Sweetie Pie. I estimate he is between two and half to three feet long.

The real question is "where is Momma?"

I have had snakes, raccoons, numerous frogs and toads, possoms, turtles, aggressive poison ivy, and a coyote (or more based on tracks) but this is a new one. Right in the front of the neighborhood. I am not really surprised though. Lots of critters down here. This one is just out catching some rays. I hope no one tries to feed the little fellow. That will be trouble. :lurk:

Alligators are great at that age. Once I had to move 100+ of them and ending up by scooping them up in my arms. First armful was 55. No mommy was not around, these were captive bred 'gators. :2239:

Those kinds of critters (dangerous ones) are one of two reasons for me to not have zone envy. A one armed man has a greater chance of hitting his thumb with a hammer than anyone in my area has of getting hurt by wildlife.

Is that pup for sale???!!! :ha:

A couple of years ago authorities caught an alligator along the bank a few miles down river from me in the Sacramento River. The poor thing had a collar and chain hooked onto it. Some idiot apparently dumped it off since it was getting to be too much to handle but didn't know what to do with the illegal pet.
