Hey everyone........ Here is an updated photo of my banana pups. I now have 6 in total as seen in photo below but nothing yet on my other banana plants from last year. I think it's because of more sunlight hitting this plant than others.

I would like info on when is the right time and how to separate these pups. I also need to know what fertilizer works best. Our home is being featured in a home garden show on June 18th and would like to help speed up these pups so they can look as best as possible.

Thanks......

Tough to really cheat nature but I'd consider some high nitrogen Like Alaska 5-1-1 fish emulsion. Can you provide extra heat maybe using a plastic tent, just make sure not to fry them ,leave an opening during the day and cover at night might give a few extra degrees to boost their "metabolism".

if your nights are still cool in ct. i would use the plastic tent idea too. like the other guy said, to try to trap heat and get the thing to grow.when it pushes out a few leaves then i would remove the tent.i wouldnt advise adding any fertilizer or watering the thing untill it started actually pushing out a few leaves. hope this helps.
