I had an aloe vera plant a friend gave me from Florida
It grew very well & kept getting bigger
I gave dozens of babies away & we had one on each table at our wedding
I eventually gave away the parent plant as it was over 100# & I was out of room

My current plant is only about 6# & is my only one
I have always had 2 just in case something happens to one
Its pretty pot bound so its time to repot
At the same time I'm going to take one part off & start a 2nd plant

I've also had spider plants for years, we also had a plant on each table at the wedding. And I'm down to only 1 plant. I need to pot some of the baby spiders

I generally put plants outside for the summer
It seems to help with their growth
I do see some sun effects/burn but after initial movement they thrive

Yes it was - a very big pot
Some of the weight was dirt, but parts of it were very big
The 1st time it sent up a flower stalk & bloomed I searched the house tryong to figure out what smelled, I thought a bottle of perfume fell over

This one needs to be repotted, then maybe I will get a bloom

I'm not sure, when I moved I couldn't take it with me
So I gave it to some friends & took a smaller aloe plant
I've been here 7 ye3ars & this one has never flowered
But it's been in a smaller pot
I'm replanting it in hopes it will grow bigger
