Here it is, my first baby banana:goteam:

Sprouted after exactly one month, on the 6th of may. It's very fragile, I hope it will survive. I keep it inside my home in a little unheated greenhouse on- or near the central heating and next to the window. Do I have to keep it away from direct sunlight (will it burn from sun?), the air is moist so there are little drops of water on the baby.

well i wouldn't put it in direct light, i've had a few sprout and there in their second leaf. Its possible for the leaves to burn to. i have mine one foot or so from the window. The pic looks good , good luck

Mar, be a little careful on the humidity for a sprout of this size. I find that without constant humidity, they do not fare well. I normally keep the seedlings/germination box within a clear plastic bag till they get the 2nd leaf out before potting it. Success rate is very high from this point. Hi, here an update of my first baby balbisiana, one month after sprouting. The total number of babies until now is :drum: 24!!!
