Beverly Hillbillies theme song playing in the background!?!?!)
Hey all!!! Just wanted to let you know that BigDog and I will be travelling to Raleigh on Friday (4/24) for the Southeastern Palm Society's spring meeting at the JC Raulston Arboretum on Saturday the 25th. We will be checking out several nurseries while there, Big Bloomers, Plant Delights, and any others we have time for!!! If anyone is planning on attending this meeting, or live in the Raleigh area, let me know as I hope we are going to be able to meet up on Friday night for a little get together and say hey!!! Kinda of a way to be able to put a name with a face, finally...
BTW, the SPS meeting is always open to non-members and are welcome to come. They always have a pretty interesting plant sale/swap during the day, so if you come, bring something if you got it, or pick something up if you don't!!!
LET ME HEAR FROM YOU!!!!

Randy- Have a great time. I won't be able to make this one, but the SPS meetings always seem to be such a great group event, and with wonderful tours, sales and swaps. Say hi to PDN for me!

Sorry to hear you will not be making the trip. Was really hoping to get to meet you in person. Well, maybe next time...

I feel like I own part of Tony's place, having given so much of my $$ to him over the years.:bananabeard::bananabeard:

Hey buddy,
We may both be catching a ride!!! :0517: As far as the truck goes, I thought about saying something along the "hear the duelling banjos playing in the background?", or "Deliverance" line, but was afraid of what folks might think!!! :ha:LOLOLOLLOLOL:ha:
Cya Friday!!!

Hey guys - have a great time!! I will be in England next month and sadly the only nananut I know will be away - perhaps another time Mark. I will be going to the Chelsea Flower Show (as for the last 10 years) but sadly nanas do not feature there!! But a good party with Pimms on the lawns, and no doubt a chance to chat with Jon Vanderplank about passieflora - my hero!!

I know a nusery where you can get 3 gallon European Fan palms that look real healthy for $21.40 with my Arboretum discount, let me know if you guys want to pay it a visit. We should also swing by the famers market ususally fine some nice tropicals there.
