Interesting thread........I'd have to say, after living in Muscle Shoals, Al. Hit recording capitol of the word back in late 50's and 60's and home of the Swampers I'd be addicted to groups who recorded there. Otis Redding, Aretha, Rolling Stones, Clarence Carter, The Staple Singers, Eagles, Bob Seagar, Cher, BeeGees, Box Tops who had a hit written by a friend of mine called Cry Like a Baby. Their biggest hit some of you may remember, Give Me a Ticket for an Airplane. So, guess you'd say I'm hooked on 50's and 60's Rock ad Roll. Alsol a fan of music recorded by The Beamer Brothers from Hawaii and one of their biggest hits Honolulu City Lights.
