Oh dear, perhaps the deer was drunk and needed a lift back. I don't think the cops can miss a big drunk deer. Oh dear. Too eye catching.:waving:

One has to consider this, the guy has about 100 pounds of free meat on his shoulder.

I didn't mean that he got stopped then for DUI. PPl said they think he already had one & that's why he isn't driving a car. :)

Here's something else interesting about this picture - that deer is not tagged, which means that it is either 1) a violator, or, 2) road kill. My money is on road kill, violators wouldn't be so conspicuous.
It also does not appear to have been gutted yet. This corroborates my theory as it is common practice to field dress them where they are killed to prevent meat spoilage.

Is that tape around the nose of the deer, also if its dead why isn't the tail lying flat. It is sticking straight out?????? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

I don't see a tag either so I'll bet it was fresh road kill. You can keep deer that are hit by a car here. I see dead deer all the time off roads just little north of here. The thing is, you don't want one that's been there too long or one that is too splattered.
That pic is worth a thousand words LOL.

I don't see tape on his nose -just its coloring I guess. They have shorter stubby tails...not long & floppy. Could be starting to get stiff -rigamortis (sp).

there is no law on the books that i can remember that says a deer cant drink and drive.......just humans. hey maybe if they let the deer drink and drive people wouldnt be having problems with squirrels on the other thread. :ha::ha::ha:

Patty, great pic, The wife and I took my step kids to the House on The Rock during spring break, there was a guy dragging a deer up the embankment on Highway 18 near Barneveld, figured it had to be a fresh roadkill, the wife and kids missed it completely ( to busy singing some hip hop song to the radio ) :) :bananas_b
