lol---I take a few days off from bananas.org and this happens. Thanks Joe and everyone. They came by in late October when the Ice Creams were ripening for the photo shoot. We had a lot of fun!

Very Nice, make sure you gat an extra copy from the publisher to put away in a safe place. I enjoy looking back on that kind of stuff.

Hey Frank, how in the world did you get Ice Cream bunches to ripen in your zone 8b? Those things take about 18 months, bloom to ripen, right? I just thought I was slick with my Orinocos (in my Avatar pic) in an 8a/8b zone.

Bama, the 18 month thing just does not seem apply to Ice Creams. I have had them bloom as early as 17 months with frost/freezes(those did not make it as it bloomed in October).
That was just my first batch of IC to ripen. Here is a thread chronicle:

After this past winter, 2009 will be a different story!
