Anyone have a good resource for purchasing large containers - 10, 20, 30+ Gal.? Pre-owned is fine.

I've purchased containers from GrowerSupply.com (http://www.growersupply.com/) . You need to take into account the shipping cost. The 45 Gal containers need to be shipped by truck. The smaller ones can come by UPS.

I purchase my containers at my local nursery. These are the large black plastic ones. The 30 gallon containers cost me approx. 6.99 each.

Just came across this one: 45 gallon nursery / tree pots - plant containers. $8.00 - Lawn, Garden & Patio - Oodle.com (http://www.oodle.com/view/45-gallon-nursery---tree-pots---plant-containers-$800/1283732241/usa/)
$8.00 apiece for 45 gal pots! He had 160 of them. Wish i were in FL, I would buy all of them.

Have you guys seen these palm tree planters? We use them as livewells in the fishing world,There big containers probably over one hundred gallons, you would need a forklift to move them.I cant remember what we paid for them.

Call your local landscaper. In most cases the containers are useless to them once the trees are planted.

I get mine on either Craiglist (post for free and request containers) or we have a local green nursery that recycles pots and customers do the same.
Good luck!
